WHAT SPECIAL PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Our websites and/or services do not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at privacy@nexify.me and we will delete this information.
WHY WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA
Nexify processes your personal data for the following purposes:

AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Nexify does not make decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals on the basis of automated processing. These are decisions that are made by computer programmes or systems, without a human being (e.g. an employee of Nexify) sitting between them.
WHAT HAPPENS IF PERSONAL DATA IS NOT SHARED
If personal data is not shared, we may not be able to provide a service. For online services/products, at least name and e-mail address are needed for login details.
For payment, location data and name and address details are needed to reach an agreement.
DATA PUBLISHED ONLINE
The following data may be published online:

- Profile photo via Gravatar
It is always possible to request anonymisation of this data.
For reviews/testimonials, we always ask whether this may be published with/without name and with/without photo.
It is possible that this data may be included in search results.
COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNIQUES
Nexify uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. Nexify uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimise it. In addition, we place cookies that track your surfing behaviour so that we can offer tailored content and advertisements. Nexify regularly sends relevant content for information and marketing purposes via FunnelKit. It is possible at any time to change data and unsubscribe from these emails via the link in the emails.
SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES
Nexify does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide them if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. These third parties are not allowed to process the data for their own purposes. Nexify remains responsible for this processing.
DATA OUTSIDE EUROPE
Most of the data we store is stored in the Cloud.
All parties we store data with are located within Europe or have an adequacy decision.
RETENTION PERIODS
Nexify stores your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data is collected.
We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:

Name and e-mail address > 3 months after last interaction > keep as long as necessary. If 3 months after last interaction then automatically delete.
Name and order history in administration > 7 years > In accounts for legal retention period
Name and order history in webshop > 2 years > Current and previous financial year for audit accounting purposes
Name and e-mail address in Mailbox/Agenda > 2 years > Current and previous financial year for feedback and consultation
IP address in logs > 1 week > For troubleshooting and security
Name, email address in Zoom or other Videocalling applications > 30 days after Zoom meeting > If there is a meeting that requires login details then the meeting will be deleted within 1 month.
Name, e-mail address, profile in websites > 1 year after last login > access to purchases and order details.
SECURITY
Nexify takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is nevertheless not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us at privacy@groeigarage.nl.
Nexify has taken the following measures to secure your personal data:
- Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall on devices used.
- Encryption of the devices used.
- TLS (formerly SSL) We send your data via a secure internet connection. You can tell this by the ‘https’ address bar and the padlock in the address bar.
- DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three Internet standards that we use where possible to prevent you from receiving e-mails from us that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.
- DNSSEC is an extra security (supplementary to DNS) for converting a domain name to its associated IP address (server name); it is provided with a digital signature. You can have that signature checked automatically. This way, we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
- All Nexify websites are equipped with security software and backed up regularly.
- Where possible, 2-factor Authentication is used for login to systems.
- All passwords for devices, systems and websites are strong passwords that are kept encrypted in a so-called password vault.
RIGHTS
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Nexify and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to me to send the personal data we have on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to privacy@nexify.me. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, erase your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but certainly within four weeks. Nexify would also like to inform you that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Personal Data Authority.
